Registration for certificate courses
Registration for a stand-alone VGU course requires that you submit the following documents:
- Registration form
- Short curriculum vitae (with photo)
- Statement of professional knowledge and experience. Tell us about your professional background, the reason why you plan to attend the course, and what you already know in and around the topic of the course.
Registration is processed in 3 steps:
- Electronic registration: Fill out the application form, submit and print it.
- Submission of documents: Sign the printed registration form and send it to the address specified in the form.
- Admission and payment: Your registration will be confirmed and you will receive an invoice. Upon payment of the course fees you will get a user name and password to access the course when the semester starts.
Requirements for certificate courses
There is no formal requirement as to a university degree or similar if you just plan to attend a stand-alone VGU course. However, you should be aware that the course level will be one of higher education (i.e. university level). Likewise, sufficient command of English is a precondition even though you will not be asked to provide formal proof. Some courses might presuppose that you possess basic business administration knowledge.
Technical requirements and computer knowledge needed are basically the same as for MBI courses (see Requirements).

MBI program
The MBI program is delivered through a cooperation between VGU and the European University Viadrina.
The MBI program was initially developed in English under a grant by the German Federal Ministry for Education and Research in the program "New media in education". Starting in summer semester 2010, the MBI program can be studied as a German language program as well.
